Six Contact Hour Classes for Health Care Practitioners

Heart Beat, Reiki with Drumming


This workshop teaches a non-invasive method of vibrational healing. When the sound of the drum is incorporated into the Reiki session, the client is present to his or her own healing.


The objectives for this class are as follows:

1.  Prepare sacred space for safe teaching space.

2.  Learn the importance of an intention and how to write one.

3.  Review Honshazeshonen for use during journey work.

4.  Define vibrational healing.

5.  Discuss journey work, journey with the drum.

6.  Write experience of journeying.

7.  Choose individual drum.

8.  Imagine spirit of the drum for personal relationship.

9.  Write about journey experience.

10.Discuss care of frame drum.

11. Practice healing beat to create healing space.

12. Demonstrate proper use of drum rhythm.

13. Apply stones and use drum for healing.

14. Participate in closing ceremony.
